GIPS 2010 released

The GIPS Executive Committee (EC), the governing body for the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPSŪ), has released the 2010 version of the GIPSŪ. The GAMSC is currently working on a German translation of the new version and will publish a draft version in October 2010.

Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPSŪ)

The GIPSŪ standards are a set of ethical principles used by investment management firms in order to establish a globally standardized, industry-wide approach to creating performance presentations that communicate investment results to prospective clients. The underlying spirit of the Standards is fair representation and full disclosure.
