The German Asset Management Standards Committee is an interest group of the
main German asset management associations – BVI Bundesverband Investment
und Asset Management e.V., DVFA Deutsche Vereinigung für Finanzanalyse und
Asset Management und CFA Society Germany e. V. - regarding the development
of capital market standards, especially GIPS.

BVI represents the German investment and asset management industry. Our members include 82 fund and asset management companies which manage 2.0 trillion Euros in retail and institutional collective investment vehicles (CIV), as well as mandates. In particular, our members represent 99% of funds under management in German and German sponsored foreign CIVs. Our members serve more than 15 million investors in Germany.

DVFA: Deutsche Vereinigung für Finanzanalyse und Asset Management - is a Society of Investment Professionals in Germany with more than 1,100 members representing over 400 investment firms, banks, asset managers, consultants and counselling businesses. DVFA is a member of EFFAS, the umbrella organisation of European Analysts Societies, building a network of more than 14,000 investment professionals in 25 nations.

CFA Society Germany e. V. is an Association of Investment Professionals in Germany with over 1,600 members representating the German investment industry. More than two thirds of its members are responsible for portfolio management and investment research. The remaining members are primarily accountants, auditors and consultants. Founded in 2000, CFA Society Germany is one of 135 investment societies in 58 countries that are part of the CFA Institute, headquartered in Charlottesville, Virginia, which is a global nonprofit organization of more than 105,000 investment practitioners located in over 137 countries. Thanks to its rapid growth, CFA Society Germany represents one of the ten largest concentrations of CFA Institute members by country.
